The Growth Marketer/Digital Events Marketing Manager is responsible for leading our Virtual Partnering (VP) Events working with a cross-functional team ensuring maximum success and registrations for our events. You will drive the marketing plan and communication strategy for each of our events and develop creative marketing that optimally positions Inova’s VP events. The right candidate will have experience in digital marketing, e-commerce sales, project management, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive registration to our events (about 6 events per year: Oncology VP, Neuroscience VP, Infectious Diseases VP,…) via marketing automation, email and social media
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with events goals and budgets to yield results
  • Use Hubspot to measure and analyze customer and prospect touch points across email, paid ad campaigns, social media, website interaction, and other digital marketing touch points
  • Strategize and develop lead generation marketing initiatives to identify qualified leads
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining our database of VP events contacts
  • Strategize, execute, and measure targeted emails to defined audiences
  • Manage and maintain the content of our VP websites with a focus on attendee acquisition
  • Create a social media strategy that drives traffic, increases leads and increases engagement
  • Manage relationships with partners including our PR & creative agencies and other association and event partnerships
  • Keep up with current marketing and social media trends to brainstorm new ideas and concepts for assets and promotions to market events
  • Measure and analyze performance to refine plans on an ongoing basis

Desired Skills and experience:

  • 5-7 years' relevant experience, B2C and/or B2B in High Tech or SaaS
  • Expert on marketing channels including email, social media, content, etc.
  • Strong understanding of transactional selling via email and other online channels
  • Ability to analyze and think strategically around audience segmentation, targeting, and brand positioning
  • Excellent communications skills – must be a strong speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups
  • Experience working with digital tools (Hubspot, Google Analytics, Wordpress, …)
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Fluent English
