Job Overview

The Chief Financial & People Officer is accountable for the administrative, financial, HR and legal operations of the company (65 employees and offices in Lyon, New York and Tokyo). It includes the development of a financial and operational strategy, the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The Chief Financial & People Officer’s mission is also to develop and implement an HR strategy to recruit, develop and retain talents, keeping diversity and inclusion as core Inova values. The Chief Financial & People Officer manages a team of 2 accountants, 1 HR assistant and a network of accounting, legal and HR service providers.


  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the Leadership Team
  • Finance
    • Manage budgeting processes
    • Manage third parties to which finance functions have been outsourced
    • Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions
    • Report financial results to the board of directors
    • Maintain banking relationships
  • Legal
    • Risk Management
    • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
    • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
    • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
    • Manage contracts and other legal aspects of the business
  • People
    • Define and guide the company culture and values
    • Design and develop Inova’s recruiter brand
    • Hire the right talents
    • Design training and performance management strategy
    • Supervise administrative HR work


  • Bachelor’s degree minimum or equivalent in Finance, with 10 years’ experience in a similar role,
  • Broad knowledge and experience in Legal and HR,
  • Excellent organizational skills and good knowledge of the different positions within an organization,
  • Prefered: Knowledge and experience in developing the finance and reporting infrastructure and systems to scale a SaaS business
  • Good oral and written communication skills in French and English,
  • Excellent consultative and listening skills. Demonstrated collaborative skills
  • Experience supporting organizational change
