Position: Inside Sales Account Manager

What you will do:

As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be working closely with the Key Account Manager in charge, helping him to grow the turnover on the following territory : Biotechs and Pharma companies above 200 employees based in Europe except Germany and Scandinavia and Middle East & Asia except Japan. You will divide your work time into 2 main missions:

  • Prospecting (around 60%)
  • Assistance to the K.A.M. to win new clients and upsell existing customers (around 40%)

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Territory mapping and define a prospecting strategy
  • Generate new leads through various communication channels (LinkedIn, cold calls, conferences…)
  • Qualify and prioritize prospects upon need analysis,
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls to convert them into sales,
  • Create and deliver qualified opportunities to the K.A.M. in charge,
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to the K.A.M. with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information…
  • Assist the K.A.M. in closing deals (contribution to proposal and contracting stages) and taking care of existing customers,
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations and other sales actions,
  • Collaborate in creating RFP (requests for proposals) answers to potential customers,
  • Document sales activities and opportunity information using Salesforce.com

Desired skills and experience

  • Master’s degree in sales / business administration with 2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in sales of CRM, PLM, ERP is a plus, as well as a pharma or biotech background,
  • Fluent English is mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all kinds of audience, customer oriented,
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities and convert prospects,
  • Good organizational, priority and time management skills, autonomy, leadership,
  • Excellent listening skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Skills in the use of Salesforce or similar opportunity management software,
  • - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and timelines
