Junior Inside Sales

Inova provides a cloud-based software and services for life sciences companies to better manage their partnering lifecycle. Over 130 life science companies, including half of the Top 50 pharmaceutical companies, many midsize pharma, and innovative biotech already use Inova.

We are looking for a talented and competitive Junior Inside Sales to develop our market. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious sales goals. You must be comfortable making business development calls, talking to Manager and/or Director-level contacts, generating interest and qualifying prospects. This is a full-time position based in our New York office with up to 10% travel time.

What you will do:

  • Use Social Selling techniques (LinkedIn, etc.) to prospect and identify leads in enterprise accounts
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to understand the territory and the plans to grow the customer base
  • Qualify marketing leads and make introductory appointments for Key Account Managers
  • Update lead and prospect activity in Salesforce.com to ensure effective lead management
  • Build customer relationship with future users, IT, and business decision makers via telephone, email, and face-to-face at tradeshows
  • Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential
  • Support Head of Sales with reporting on team activities in Salesforce

Desired skills and experience:

You are perfect for this position if you have:

  • A first experience or internship in Sales and Lead Generation, preferably CRM, SaaS or life sciences related
  • Good understanding of sales development best practices; successful track record of account research and discovery
  • Are a team player with a positive outlook and high energy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with all kinds of audience
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM and web conferencing tools such as Go-to-Meeting a plus
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, prior formal sales training (i.e. Solution Selling, etc.) a plus
